TerraFALCON

Rhea-TerraFALCON is a high-powered digital elevation modeling (DEM) display and manipulation tool. The unique features of TerraFALCON are the ability to construct a high volume, colored 3D object display of the terrain and perform on-screen processing of these displays with OpenGL. TerraFALCON can load raster elevation data and automatically process the USGS header files to create a refined 3D display model. TerraFALCON gives you the ability to construct detailed terrain maps by downloading the elevation data directly from the USGS web page (see links in help file). Finally, the graphical displays are processed with CADRazor DEV, our unique PowerBASIC OpenGL tool. The combined TerraFALCON-CADRazor gives exceptional object punch. The user can manipulate their 3D DEM displays with surface counts exceeding 500,000. Need to fly your terrain model and record an AVI? Then try Flyboy mode inside CADRazor.

The user can download DEM data from the USGS web page. Link on NOAA logo below. Also consult the TerraFALCON help file for instructions on how to load the DEM data and process the coordinates.
