Rhea-PMA is a general purpose AVI construction tool. PMA stands for Poor Man's Animator. PMA is one tool within the standard Rhea-toolpack and is bundled in all the Hyperion-series tools such as TFS, Mesh3D and CADRazor. PMA is used to generate an AVIQuick APQ file to automate the construction of the AVI.
Basic usage of PMA is as follows. First you select a dialog after clicking the select dialog button. PMA then registers a thumbnail image of the dialog. This is used to guide the user in cropping the selection. For example, you can eliminate details such as dialog header frames. Next you specify selection rates and playback rates. Frames are captured after you click START and continue automatically until the FRAME count is achieved. You can click STOP to interrupt the process. Finally, by clicking on BUILD AVI button, the AVIQuick module is automatically started and reads a native apq file to specify the AVI construction. The following animation was the final product of PMA. Note you can animate anything in the dialog, not just graphics.
